We brought this for our rescue dog who we found was not dog friendly. Once she had the jacket on, most owners took heed of the message and kept their distance.
This sends out a clear warning - and it is very effective. So glad I bought this.
I looked everywhere for a positive message like this to try to explain to other people why I had to carry a shaker and be on top of my dog’s behaviour (whilst also giving a subtle hint to stay clear). It is working a treat.
Fits onto lead well & gives a clear message. Have had other dog owners ask me where it was from as they thought it was a great idea.

Great idea but in reality it doesn’t stay straight and is therefore not readable. It is noticeable as I have had people ask me what it says. So I hope that the fact the dog is wearing it acts as a warning in itself. I am going to try a vest instead in the hope that this will be readable.

Brilliant customer service, had to do an exchange because size 4 was far too large for my collie, size 3 came swiftly by return of post. Would definitely use this company again, I highly recommend them.
The coat is bright and the printing clear. Other dog owners do notice it and most act accordingly.I am very pleased with it.The coat has survived regular machine washes and is coping well with constant rain and mud.

This vest is great, people notice and don't try to touch jess or actually move out of the way. It fits my greyhound well. The only negative is having a harness on top obscures the writing slightly but people can obviously still read it.

A very useful tool if you have a fear aggressive young dog like us. Most other dog walkers are now showing a bit of compassion and understanding and are only too happy to comply. It will be very useful when she is in season and Post Operatively after spaying on her walks.
Such a simple idea has made walking our dog so much easier. The product stands out well as a warning, before we had to shout to get other dog walkers to put their dog on a lead, which no doubt made ours worse!!! It was easy to order, excellent customer service and prompt delivery.

This is great for getting the message across that I really don't want you to allow your dog to approach mine. My staffy is fear reactive so I love this statement. I didn't want one that suggested she is aggressive because she isn't, she just likes her own space...bit like me really, and this does make other owners aware there could be an issue if they get too close. It has created more interactions with complete strangers (without dogs) who want to make a fuss of her and she loves this. She loves people.
It's lightweight and shower repellent. I'm not sure how it will be in the summer months, I'm hoping it's cool enough for her.
Wear it along with my dog in her coat....it's very bright but visible and gets the message across. I found it warm enough with a long sleeved t shirt underneath but it isn't ultra thick.
Easy to put on, thought my dog would struggle against it, but turned out fine. He was happy wearing it ( a most unusual scenario) also it washed up very well. Very happy with this purchase.
Neon dog created this wording for us, as our JR can be very reactive with strangers but because she is so cute looking, she gets lots of attention. The toggle fastening works better on her than a tie on, and the size is perfect for a small JR. Brilliant service, brilliant product!
My poor boy went 9years without knowing pain , he is a gentle giant and he loved meeting other dogs until this summer when in two weeks he was attacked twice by two different Stephies , he became so terrified of any dog that he would try to get out of his collar to get away. Having put him in his coat people give him the space he needs, best product I’ve ever bought. Thank you.

Very pleased with product, fast delivery
I bought 2 My Dog Requires Space lead slip covers for my 2 reactive lurchers, they get nervous when approached by strange dogs/people and react by lunging and barking, I always have them under control via harnesses with a grab handle and leads, and I always over emphasize the fact that I need to restrain them when approached by dogs off lead, it still amazes me that people can see that I have 2 big dogs being restrained by the handles on their harnesses, sometimes up on their hind legs, snarling and barking, yet fail to even call their dog or attempt to put them on a lead, then as they pass give me the, you shouldn't have dogs like that look. My dogs are fine with others that they know and often play together off lead, when possible. I purchased the lead covers after finding NeonDog online and have to say that responsible dog owners do tend to attempt to recall their pets when they see us coming, which has made our daily dog walks more enjoyable and sometimes call out to ask before releasing their dogs. So its a very big thank you to NeonDog for a great product that actually works
Bought this as our rescue dog is a bit unpredictable when out and about. It’s really fluorescent and so people see it quickly and even if they can’t read what it says they are more cautious on approach which is exactly what I wanted. It gave me more confidence when walking her.

Good item, enough velcro area to fit many size of arm or over coats/jumpers etc. It's very visible and the writing easy to read from some distance away. You obviously still get the occasional idiot that fails to see this, the lead slip 'space needed' and her harness that is fluorescent yellow with 'Nervous' on it. But more fool them if they crowd our personal space and she growls. Having all of the 'signage' has given me more confidence when out and training with her, people have clear warning and I can focus on working with her and know that it's obvious there's a reason for our stop starting etc. I'm sure with another 6 months intensive training we'll have got through and over her fear aggression and won't need to use the arm band. But it will have been worth every penny!

This is just right for carrying poo bags, treats, money etc when walking the dog, not too large but roomy & well made plus easy to keep clean. Would recommend!
My dog got attacked by another when younger which made him very scared of other dogs, people thought he was being aggressive as he was barking at them but he was just scared and was protecting himself. Now with this I feel people won’t judge him and gives him the space he needs and I feel comfortable walking him again. Thank you for making products to help dogs be dogs.

I was sick of peoples off lead dogs coming over to my on lead dog, especially the ones that say oh my dog is friendly whilst its kicking off growling and snarling. well i saw this and thought i'd give it a go. it works a treat, so many people see the sign and recall their dog and put it back on a lead. it also stops people just coming over and stroking her.
