This was a great buy. We weren't sure if something like this would help our dog, who is nervous around other dogs and loud children, but it has been a gamechanger! People are definitely more aware and I've seen more dog owners take preventative action by recalling their dog earlier or putting them on the lead. It has meant that some humans have moved away and he gets less pets from the people he is happy to see, but that's better than him being absolutely terrified on his walks. I have already recommended this to a couple of dog owner friends! We don't go anywhere without it now, it gives that extra bit of confidence to make sure we all have a nice walk! Also super quick delivery and packing was great, thank you!

This came the next day and is as described. I have used it every day and it has been covered in mud and salt spray, but is as good as new after a wash. Easy to use, easy to see. I will get another one if my dog needs a different sign, or purchase something he can wear off lead if I feel it will help.
An ideal product for a slightly anxious dog. Fits well over the lead and is easy to see and read.
I have bought from Neon a few times and the variety of vests are great. I only gave 4 stars this time as there is a ladder going through the vest, just a defect but still does the job. Ive bought from other suppliers in the past and these vests only seem to get peoples attention.

I bought this product in the largest size for my boy and I am very impressed with it.The writing is large and easy to read which is very helpful.People do comment about it and give him space which makes walking him more comfortable for me and him.I would recommend this product and buy it again.
My neon dog space needed jacket has been a game changer for my half Labrador German Shepherd very reactive and nervous young bitch who operates on the attack being the best form of defence principle. She now has her jacket and a muzzle. I no longer have to give warning signals to other dog owners who by and large are very responsive to her yellow jacket. It has also served to make me more confident and assertive with her. So together we are doing much better. Thank you so much.
A great idea for nervous dogs who needed space but ours has a tendency to move around. I also bought the lead slip and find that easier to use and more visible.
Just what we needed for our nervous dog. He's not good when people come to close and most people see it and give him space. It works really well.
This is also a great item as well as using it on the lead I put it on my dogs collar . It doesn’t get in the way like a bandana. . I think this is brilliant
This is perfect for my rescue dog that is very anxious when meeting new people or dogs . It’s easy for people to see . The only slight problem for me was I had to make a hole for the lead as she wears a harness but that wasn’t really a problem.

I ordered a size 4 and it was a perfect fit for my gsd, does help others understand why maybe my dog is kicking off at an off lead dog that is approaching to quick or too close, material is very thin so ideal if using in summer months, what would be great if there was a Velcro slot made along the back to enable a lead to clip to a harness that’s being worn underneath it.
Sturdy little bag with adjustable strap, well made with strong zips, ideal for dog bags & treats etc front pocket big enough for iPhone, is waterproof as was caught in a down pour although bag wet contents inside remained dry, would’ve given 5* but feel the clip to hold keys wouldn’t be big or strong enough and wouldn’t use for fear of losing them.
Really great little jacket. Helps with the reaction of other people which makes a difficult situation easier to deal with. Easy to put on - no overhead, all strong velcro fastenings. Only thing I would change is a hole for a harness D-ring - had to cut one in and hem it. Otherwise a great purchase.

Oggy is a rescue dog & is scared of other dogs & barks & rears up at them ! So this bandana which I have sewn onto his harness has made things better now when out on a walk !
My dog can be a bit funny on her lead around other dogs if they run to her so bought this coat as she is Ok if they slowly come towards her. It's perfect. Fits great, easy to see & read and has helped so much. Recommended to people who have asked about it.

Worked (and works) well on a recent visit to Filey (Yorkshire) on a very busy beach and in town. Most of the public and other responsible dog owners responded in a sympathetic and positive manner. Needless to say its not a cure-all, but its worth the money and does the job.

My dog has very little sight,being young he likes to be off the lead in a safe place but we were worried if and when he ran in front of someone ,he might trip them up ,but now with the jacket people can see exactly what is wrong and avoid him,,he also gets lots of attention which he adores.

My dog is deaf and almost blind. I couldn't find anything that appropriate for her two problems on the NeonDog website, so I emailed the company to ask them to email me if ever they started making products for dogs with both hearing and vision problems. They responded the same day to say they would add products of this type to the website, and then let me know. The products were on the website within one day and I was able to order exactly what I needed for my dog. Utterly brilliant service and customer-responsiveness. Brought this for our rescue spaniel x poodle. He looks really cute but is terrified to be touched by strangers so this helped massively!! He wears it for every walk. Our rescue is scared of things going over his head so it's nice not to have that battle as it has velcro around the front of his chest and belly, these do NOT move when he is off lead chasing squirrels and I can relax if we run into people as they see it clearly and don't bend over to touch him. It survived well in the wash and so far is standing all tests! The only thing I have changed is I have cut and sewn a hole for his harness loop to go through the top. Great product if you need to give people prior warning of any quirks.

Wonderful! Really pleased with this. It is neat and small enough to fit our little pug x crestie who is in training to be a hearing assistance dog. I have been able to attach it to his harness (he is not good with anything around his neck) and it looks really good and clear.
Nice fit on our Lhasa who is losing his sight due to diabetes. We are due to go away in our caravan soon, so the message on the coat will hopefully warn people to approach Charley with care. It is lightweight and should not be too hot to wear - if we have another heatwave.
I recieved the bib quickly and was really pleased, it was just what we needed, lightweight so can be used all year round fits over her harness and can be seen so well , I'm hoping it helps people understand how scared my dog is if approached by dogs or people maybe they will be a little more aware !
The tabard is bright and the print is on both sides which we wanted. Literally everything we need to make others aware that me and my dog don't want others near us and we would like to walk in peace. Unfortunately like others have said, there are many idiots around who either can't read and/or are oblivious to their surroundings and will still allow their off lead dog to run straight at you. So yes, it's good but not magic.

I am foster for a rescue and work with their behavior center dogs that are usually very reactive on leash. This bright shirt definitely helps alert people that your dog needs space (even from people not with dogs). I also think that it helps others understand why the dog might bark loudly at them. Their faces seem more understanding which helps me out. Great outdoor material, looks exactly as pictured. Highly recommend. Shipped quickly to US (even during slow shipping times).

I have a reactive American bulldog. He normally wears a harness with "NO DOGS" on it but it doesnt shout "PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOG AWAY" like this coat does.Well made and a great fit and being so bright it attracts the attention of everyone not just dog owners. Highly recommend if you want to get your message to other dog owners.

We have bought this, and a 'space needed' vest. We've got this for if and when we go to very busy places where we might see lots of dogs off lead. It is great to have in the car/ your pocket in case you go somewhere that you expect to be quiet but isn't. We use a local nature reserve for walks, and its normally very quiet in the week but every now and then there's a day when the world and his wife are out all at the same time, this has been really useful to inform owners who keep their dog off lead and when in a crowded path/ space. Would recommend!
